Mobility of the B4 is convenient because of 8” heavy duty casters, a foot operated hydraulic pump and a tow bar. The 8” swivel casters with locks roll easily on smooth surfaces. The foot operated hydraulic pump does not have to be near a power source for operation in order to lift the platform to the desired height. The tow bars allow easy movement from one location the next.
B4 stands are strong and have a 500 lb. capacity. This means that 2 people can actually be on the platform at the same time. This is important because some repairs to an aircraft require a second set of hands in order to easily complete the task being performed in a timely fashion.
